A firm dedicated to
families

Family law has long been overlooked by legal practitioners. Faced with the evolution of the notion of family and the increasing complexity of patrimonial rules, Béatrice Weiss Gout decided to found a law firm in 2000 lending family law its prestige.

Since its creation, the firm has sought to offer guidance, combining the utmost rigour of business law firms with the right understanding of the stakes, crises and solutions specific to families, in all its forms, as well as estates.

The union of these two cultures led to the creation of the firm. A true Family Law Firm: a law firm which meets the highest standards of quality and technicality, while cultivating a profoundly human approach to the complex and changing realities that the notion of family encompasses.

20 years later, bwg has become the reference firm in family and estate law, with a staff of some 20 lawyers and a bilingual international department.

Values

Tailor-made, human
and expert guidance

Our mission is above all to help families avoid, anticipate or overcome crises so they can look to the future with confidence.

Avoiding or anticipating difficulties, by advising and guiding our clients, at every stage of their family life, to help them make their decisions with full knowledge of the facts. Overcoming crises through support, both human and legal, with the aim of finding the most appropriate solutions to often complex issues, by conciliating and negotiating as soon as possible or by defending them vigorously.

Our lawyers are constantly at the forefront of developments in family law, working in a team adapted and structured within the firm, and in close collaboration with other professionals, in France and abroad, under the watchwords of availability, responsiveness, efficiency and rigour.

  • Experience et expertise
  • Human approach
  • Tailor-made
  • Availability and efficiency

The firm is based on the notion of teamwork and solidarity. This approach is in line with the collaborative work we are looking for.
